In the Beji area of Kedewan District, an outcrop of brownish-gray sandstone from the Middle Miocene Bulu Formation is exposed. The rock is compact yet highly porous, enabling it to serve as a natural reservoir for hydrocarbons beneath the Earth's surface. Its characteristics suggest that this area was once a dynamic shallow marine environment. The Bulu Formation holds significant scientific value for understanding Bojonegoro's petroleum system and serves as an ideal site for field education and the development of energy-themed geotourism.

Di kawasan Beji, Kecamatan Kedewan, tersingkap batu pasir berwarna abu kecokelatan dari Formasi Bulu berumur Miosen Tengah. Batuan ini padat namun memiliki porositas tinggi, sehingga mampu berperan sebagai reservoir alami penyimpan minyak bumi di bawah permukaan. Ciri-cirinya menunjukkan bahwa kawasan ini dahulu merupakan lingkungan laut dangkal yang aktif secara geologis. Formasi Bulu memiliki nilai ilmiah penting untuk memahami sistem perminyakan Bojonegoro dan menjadi lokasi ideal untuk kegiatan edukasi lapangan serta pengembangan geowisata bertema energi.
